ATTIC INSULATION

Fiberglass is a lightweight, extremely strong, and robust material. Fibreglass insulation is rolled into the attic space between & across the joists, 300mm fibreglass insulation is the required amount to be installed in your attic area to conform to current building regs. 100mm fibre glass is rolled out inbetween the joists while an additional 200mm is rolled on top of the joists to bring it up to the required regulation. Once the attic is fully insulated the timbers on the floor of the attic will not be visible and for this reason additional flooring is laid down in the attic to provide a safe walk way to access the water tank and other ammenities in the attic area. Once this is sucessfully installed a U value of   0.13W/m2K will be achieved.
